A day on horseback

Today we went on a 6 hour horse back ride - 5 of it on the horses. In South America you don't sign things like waivers, and you do all kinds of crazy stuff. This ride was amazing. We went through a Selva (like a very jungly woods with huge ferns and skunk plants to a huge river that was especially strong because it has been raining for the past two weeks. We were headed for a waterfall, but didn't make it because the majority of us refused to cross the "bridge" (you'll see why), and the horses refused to cross the river. But before we got to the river there was a point at which we had to get off the horses and slide/scramble down a steep and narrow rocky path. I have no idea how they got the horses down, I was too worried about them tumbling down on top of us to wait around and see. G was allowed to have his own horse, and did a great job riding it himself.
