Little G's East Coast Tour, May 2007

We've just returned from our epic east coast tour. It was wonderful! Little G loved meeting new people (and so did N and I), and we had lots and lots of wonderful visits. He also mastered rolling over from front to back while we were there, went swimming for the first time, and learned a new vocalization that sounds something like a shriek.

Here's a picture of us in New York City:

I have managed to pare down the photos to be less than 200 shots, and uploaded them to Snapfish. I will send out an email to the east coast crew with a link to the album. If anyone else is interested, let me know.

Birthday boy

Celebrating the 4-month-old birthday with a rose-petal bath, some tummy time, and some hand-chewing. Oh, and he seems to not want to go to bed. We've been up the past two hours with him, and he just wants to play!

4 months old today

Gabriel is 4 months old today. It's amazing to think about all of the changes that have happened in just the last month, not to mention since he was born. We are so happy and so blessed to have him in our lives.

Here's our month-to-month pose (on the tummy this month, in honor of his tremendous tummy activity).

Showing off his head lifting skills.

Trying to get somewhere

Gabriel is getting stronger and stronger on his belly. We try to give him "naked time" each day. This was Saturday, and he was in his crib, trying to get around...

Getting up on the elbows is standard operating procedure now.

But it's so hard to get anywhere...

In the end, he says, "can you just pick me up, please?"

Little Bear, Little Drummer Boy

Kissable little bear.

Checking out his pockets.

Little Drummer Bear (I was teaching him how to make my coffee!).

Pulling, Chewing, and Kicking

Gabriel is perfecting some important motor skills this week...

Hair pulling...

I guess I shouldn't put him up here if I don't want him pulling my hair!

Finger chewing...

Those are Noelani's hands, but he is not all that picky -- he'll chew on anyone's hands (that's why we're always asking: did you wash your hands?!?)

And last but not least, bathtub drain kicking...

Which is very fun, indeed. Wheeeeeee!
