Cows Eat Celery

Big trip to the Little Farm, where kids (and grown-ups) can feed celery and lettuce to the animals. I'm at work, so no photo commentary today. ;-)

Family Trip to Florida

We just got back from a great trip to Florida to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Patti, Ernie & Louie. Best quote from the flight: "My ears are popping out." Best quote from the visit: "Louie. Louie. Louie." Best time: rocking to "See Ya Later Alligator".

Here are some of my pixs. :-)

Louie (7 1/2) and Gabriel (2) get reacquainted in the very climbable tree in Grandma and Grandpa's front yard.

Grandma and Grandpa are two blocks from the beach! Ernie, Noelani, Gabriel, and Louie (he's the one in the 61 degree water) are enjoying the water.

I enjoyed seeing all of the pelicans diving for their lunch.

Louie and Ernie found a shark's tooth, while Noelani and Gabriel found that their feet sink in the sand when the waves come in.

It is much easier to build sand castles with wet sand.

When not at the beach, there were other activities to keep the boys entertained...

I can't believe I got them both to sit still for this photo op!

At night it was back to the beach for sunset and some open-mike banjo tunes.

And here is Grandpa helping me help Gabriel walk on the big pipe (Louie can do it all by himself, of course!).

And here we all are celebrating Grandpa's birthday after a wonderful dinner.

And while we were there, Gabriel did not forget about his modeling/acting career potential...
