What's New?

I have been noticing a lot of new behaviors as Gabriel approaches his year and a half mark. Some of them:
- he has discovered the magic of stickers
- today was the first report of unsolicited tickling
- he is learning to fetch a ball
- he now owns big crayons and is starting to use them (our walls are white...)
- he has his own broom that he gleefully sweeps the house with

Are you sleeping, are you sleeping, Gabriel?

OUR VERBOSE LITTLE G - a little brag...

Don't misunderstand me, Gabriel actually doesn't talk that much. But it seemed like he knew a lot of words, so I, Noelani, thought I'd start listing all of the words he says unprompted, and in the correct context. Gabriel has 70+ words in his vocabulary! About 10 of them are signs or sounds, but the rest are his approximation of our words. They are in a nifty little spread sheet that you can see here:

In addition to these, he understands pretty much everything we say and can identify all face and major body parts when asked. I'll update the list as he adds new words.
Enjoy!

Eating "Ba-Pa"

Some new pixs because Grandmama needs a fix. :-)

Note: Ba-Pa = Pasta, and there are two ways to eat it: with a fork, and without...
