Yes, we did celebrate Halloween, and I have been woefully negligent in not posting these pixs sooner...

Frown of the day
No photos, just an update
Blogger is not letting me upload photos tonight, so I will just catch you'all up on the happenings in the life of little g. So much has changed in just the last few weeks...
The week Grandma and Grandpa were here:
- learned to tear paper (shredded the newspaper into little bits)
- there were other things, but I can't remember them!
The week we were in Ohio:
- learned to play the piano
- stood independently for a few seconds
- blew a whistle (very cool!)
- pulled his blanket up and down for Peek-a-Boo
- had up close and personal positive interactions with Gizmo (the Booms' dog)
The week of Thanksgiving when Bailey was here:
- said his first word, "Boo" (taught this by Bailey, playing Peek-a-Boo)
- said his second word, "Bo-Bo" (aka "I would like to nurse now, please" -- this is the first word he has initiated saying himself)
- said his third word, "eeeeee" (aka, "I see a cat")
- ate meat for the first time (chicken and turkey)
Since Thanksgiving:
- able to stack the plastic rings on the stacker (learned this from Renata)
- initiated the cat sign himself without prompting, and also pointed to the picture of the cat in a book (he is really into cats right now)
- said his fourth word "Bu" (aka, "Please read me a book now")
- said his fifth word "Buh Buh" (aka, "Please blow bubbles for me now")
- ate onions (likes them)
- clapping his hands, patting his head, and lifting his hands over his head (all of the things you do "if you're happy and you know it"): this all happened at once - we have been reading that book to him for months, and singing the song and doing the motions with him, and then just this week he started doing it himself!
- identifying body parts (head and feet, so far)
Developments in progress:
- blowing bubbles
- blowing his nose
- scooping food up with a spoon
