I am 3 years old...

and REALLY excited about it!

But not as excited as I am about CAKE!

I let Olivia help me blow out the candles (she's my BFF).

Aren't we so cute!

I also let her wear a crown.

Sam wore one, too!

I picked out the cake myself...

It was REALLY good (and had lots of sugar in it!).

This pix is from my birthday morning. Mommy said she was "re-enacting" my birth, whatever that means.

This is my birthday morning, too -- Grandma and Grandpa sent a card and a package. I was so excited by my presents. These cars CHANGE COLOR when they get hot and cold. So cool!

And this is my first Richard Scary book. I read it on the way to Jil's house this morning. Jil and Rabbit are planning a big day for me to celebrate!

Now that I am three...

Now that I am three...

• I get dressed by myself (with a little "coaching" to keep me on task)
• I clear my dishes from the table (and I use breakable plates!)
• I can plug and unplug things (with adult supervision)
• I feed my puppy, Salt (so that she knows I'm in charge)
• I can find the song Yellow Submarine on the iPod (because it starts with the letter Y)
• I can read and spell my name (ok, I could do this for the last 6 mths)
• I memorize books and then "read" them to myself, or my moms, or a friend
• I can sight read some words: e.g., Woof, Cat, Poop.
  

Some "firsts" when I turned three:

• My first brownie (with caffeine!)
• My first remote control car (an outside toy)
• My first time playing basketball (with my own hoop and ball!)
• My first kiss (with my BFF, Olivia)
• My first pair of scissors (to be used with adult supervision)
