Yes, still at the park. I learned today that if I rock Gabriel up and down, between my legs and then up to my chest, he laughs. It was so precious! :-)

Supermodels

Also at the park, Noelani and Gabriel climbed a great big tree, that we expect little g will spend a lot of time in when he's older. Here are the pixs of my two supermodels:

Trip to the park

Today we strolled to Dimond Park (a great park 5 mins from our house) and enjoyed the grass. Some of us enjoyed it more than others...here are some pixs of Gabriel's first experience interacting closely with grass:

I took these sweet pictures today -- remember that this is a boy with his first cold -- he sure seems happy with his Mama, doesn't he?

3 months old

Our little g is 3 months old already. It feels like the time has gone so fast, yet it also feels like he's always been with us. He continues to facinate us with his smiles and "talking" and motor skill development. His main project for the last two weeks has been to figure out how to suck on his hand/thumb/fingers. He is now an expert.

Another 3 month marker is that he has gotten his first cold (I'd asked him to wait until 3 months to do this, so he did (such a good boy)). He got it on Thursday, and has been coughing and sneezing all weekend. Overall, he is taking it well (better than me).

He's learned to grab the sun/moon.

Mary has been so fabulous about keeping this blog updated AND working AND helping care for Gabriel, so I thought maybe I would try my hand here and give her a little break.
Gabriel and I visited my work last week and here's everyone squeezing him. It was really great to see people - I miss you all - but am so grateful to have this time with our little guy.
