I have to say, I am a great eater!

What have I been getting into lately?

So much has happened lately -- I figured out how to crawl, and then, it turns out, I knew how to stand, and well, after that, there were so many places I could reach and see -- it's been so exciting I can hardly sleep!

My moms thought I needed some tables so that I could practice standing...this table makes lots of NOISE!

I have my own special cabinet in the kitchen -- the things in there make lots of noise, too!

This box has a table in it, but I'm using the box as practice while I wait for the table.

Finally, the table -- it comes with trains but I'm too young for that (they say).

I do have three cars I play with and was sharing them with my friend Diego (he can stand, too).

Camping at New Brighton Beach

We went on our annual adventure with Rikki, Vanessa, Izak & Kai this past weekend. We camped at New Brighton State Beach. It's a very nice campground, car camping and mostly RVs. On a cliff just above the ocean -- we could hear the waves crashing from our site, and it was a short walk to the beach. Here are some of the pixs:

He played at the campsite on this sheet (so that he wouldn't eat the dirt etc.).

Woohoo!

And he played on the sheet at the beach, so he wouldn't eat the sand...

Well, that didn't work out as well as it could have. ;-)

We took a short dip in the water -- it was a little cold (notice that G has lifted his legs up to keep them out of the wave!).

At the campsite, the kids (and the grownups) were entertained by tricycles.

Kai was very sweet with Gabriel, and we all had a ride together.

Because he knows something I don't...

That is it much harder to take these pictures now that he is mobile!

He just gets up and leaves.

As soon as I take my hand off of him, he rolls.

At least he had a good time doing this! ;-)

So far he's got the G-C-D chord progression down.

And is working on his stage presence -- connecting with the audience, that sort of thing.

This was great to watch -- he was studying himself in this huge mirror at our hairdresser's shop.

This is Ellie, our hairdresser (she's expecting a baby boy!). :-)
