It's good that we had that big night out for the holiday party, because there are no more big nights out. The Monday after the party, Dec 18th, Noelani was instructed to go on bedrest to keep baby g inside for at least another week (we were at 36 weeks at that point, and 37 weeks is the magic number).
Now we are at 38+ weeks, so he is welcome to come anytime. Noelani stopped working on the 19th, and I have been working at home since then. We have had a lot of great support from our friends during this time, both in physical support for things that Noelani couldn't do herself, or food (essential!), and phone calls checking in and sending love. We feel so lucky and thankful for everyone's support! We are fully ready for him now -- his room is organized, the birth items are all lined up, we have a freezer with food supplies, and the Christmas decorations are down. And so we wait...
